I search amongst the trees.
Hollow voices, rusting chimes
haunt my thoughts beneath.
Shadows bared by waters of black
reveal a conscience frayed.
Silken hope, luminous,
I depart to its embrace.

I’ll surely love to read your inspiring words soon.
cheers.
It has been a while, hasn’t it? It must be because I’ve been busy…and Samantha…well, she declines to help me out by blogging for me! 😉
Marvelous!
Gorgeous poem, Phoebe. Love it all, but especially the line “reveal a conscience frayed” — so perfectly poignant! Deb
Thanks, Deb! 😀
