  1. I love cats. She looks like a well cared for and happy girl. Cats are the best. I love their unique personalities, and their attitudes. A very lovely photo of you both as well, and the room looks so cozy.

    1. Aww that’s cool you love cats. I agree they all have very different personalities. I’ve never had a cat as gentle and affectionate as Samantha! So I kind of like to think of her as a dog. πŸ˜‰ Have a great week. I hope you have a kitty to hug as well. πŸ™‚

      1. No, I currently do not have a fur-baby. I wish I did, but with my circumstances right now, it would be too hard and unfair for the kitty.
I have had two, the first was a female who decided she wanted to move in, so I let her. She was like your Samantha. The most gentlest , sweetest cat around. Followed me every where, which was not always a good thing. She was an outdoor cat, for most of her life. She lived to be about 15, but at a certain point, she decided she preferred thee house to the streets. I cried so hard when she got sick and passed .I was not very creative or original with naming her. I called her, Kat.
I swore I would not have another, but I did. A friend of mine could not keep him, so I took him. he was the exact opposite of my girl.He did not like to be petted, touched or picked up. If he wanted to be petted, he would rub you, sometimes he would jump on the arm of couch and give me looks, like,”why are you here human, just feed me and clean my liter box”. He was still lovable in his own way. He did not live that long. Another sad day. I don’t want to go through that again, but I am so tempted. If I ever do get one again, it would be from a shelter, and an older one that no one wants.

        1. Aww…you have such a soft heart! That’s how I feel about pets too– I love them so much and get utterly heartbroken when they pass. Well, here’s to all the fur babies around the world! Take care and have a great evening. πŸ™‚

  2. Lovely photo of you both! Have a relaxing Sunday, both you and Sam. If you lived north, like I do, I’d tell you to “stay warm,” too. But I think you’re luckier than I am, πŸ˜‰

  3. Absolutely! They don’t expect much except the basics of life. They are always around (especially at meal times). They don’t throw temper tantrums (well… not often). You can tell them secrets! They are generally receptive to attention. They don’t move stuff around so you cannot find anything. They never say “Would you mind ……… ?” They are always pleased to see you. Their personal wardrobe is minimalist. Who needs people? Sometimes it’s just nice to hug a furry companion!

    1. Hahaha. Alas, I have not yet had the pleasure of experiencing the joys of extensive human companionship…though I would imagine people could also make good furry companions too. But yes…the furball that is my cat…I am quite fond of hugging her. πŸ™‚

    1. Indeed, what happened to you was a grave tragedy. Though maybe…you can still be a male chest model…and that scar can be your trademark…like Madonna’s gapped front teeth…? :-/

I still think you should give my Samantha a chance though. She’s more like a gentle, affectionate dog than a cat… πŸ˜€

      1. last time someone told me something was gentle i ended up, well , lets not go there.

Only Madonna can pull off a gap front, maybe Lenny Kravitz too. If the scar was like a tiger claw stripe, yes. But it doesn’t look cool or badass, it just looks stupid.

        1. I feel ya. I have a scar above my left eyebrow from a doorknob. Whoever told me that doorknob was gentle was obviously lying…

Nevertheless…I encourage you to give Samantha a chance. You will not be disappointed. I gave doorknobs a second chance…and today I am quite content with their presence…

Also, I’m sure that chest scar of yours looks very manly on you. Flaunt it. πŸ™‚
