Eyes like doves
behind a veil…
Lips of lilies,
dripping with myrrh…
spice flowing forth…
Ravished is my heart.

That’s not fair doc, i did see those other lines until, i visited your blog…
And i stolen the first line of your work..
This is great. To me, that’s because while the words seem to be describing someone, this subject of infatuation, it’s so ethereal and completely useless as description, that it says NOTHING about them at all, and everything about the state of the infatuated – about that fantastical, illogical state of mind.
It’s a cool effect, and pretty mind-bending.
Thank you, dear. 🙂
Vulnerability at it’s finest ! I think the most exciting part of love is the discovery.. So good !
This is lovely, Phoebe. I’m discovering it a little late, but as they say ‘better late than never.’ Love the artwork as well. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Thank you, Deb. You too! 🙂
