Beyond the Physical [a poem]

By Cara Amy Goldthorpe | Featured Contributor

Nothing that I have
feels like it is mine
anymore
because we have
transcended the
time, of material
wealth;
attachment to
possessions, and
physical
temporary
things –

yes,
they all will come
and go
with the ebb
and flow
of the Moon’s sweet
tides,
and we will learn
to let go
of control; in
eternal
surrender to
Universal
law

karmic cycles
broken
in ascended glory, where
galactic forces
provide more
than we can begin to
know
for so long, our
comprehension
has been masked,
by the illusions
of the matrix
but that glass prison
of prisms
is fracturing at
the multi-dimensional
level
and eternity is
crystallizing
into the here and
the now

of all we will
ever
even dream we
need

Hola, I’m Cara. After 18 months practicing as a lawyer in London, I found myself locked down in the jungle of Costa Rica when borders closed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Having recently suffered from a post-viral fatigue and burnout, I then took the opportunity to continue living out here, devoting my energy to health and deepening my connection to nature and to creative expression. Through sharing my stories and poetry, I hope to inspire you to live more healthily and in harmony with this beautiful earth.
