Promote your blog at phoebemd.comMeet & Greet

Promote Your Blog [closed]

Happy April! This week, I again open up PhoebeMD.com for another Meet & Greet event. Remember, this is your moment to shine! I originally started this on PhoebeMD as a dedicated time for bloggers to come together to share their work, make new connections, and expand their blog audiences.

The guidelines, like always, are simple…

– To Promote Your Blog or Post –

Step 1

Select a blog post that you would like to share with others.

◊ Step 2

Tell us a little bit about your post and copy and paste the link to it.

◊ Step 3 (important)

Start networking! I encourage you to use my Comment Section to chat/connect with one another and make your presence known; take advantage of this time and interact with other bloggers. The more love you give, the more you will receive in return—this is a fact!

◊ Step 4

Bookmark this post and revisit as many times as you would like to explore new arrivals. We often get bloggers who join in later, so there are always new blogs to explore. Also feel free to spread the word by sharing or reblogging!

On these days, I turn off comment moderation to allow you all to easily converse with one another on this post. So feel free to use this platform to chat and network.

Let’s make this a great Meet & Greet weekend!

With love,
Phoebe
🌷

  1. Hello everyone, and thanks a lot Phoebe for this wonderful opportunity!
My name is Kashvee Lalwani, and I love to express my attitude towards life by my blog posts…
Here is the link to one of my blog posts, where the importance of ‘letting go the excess, to allow the better things come along’ has been expressed by the means of an article…. let go the false expectations, negative traits, superfluous noise, pain and many other unwanted things to unleash a better, true, creative and a happy ‘you’ 🙂

  2. Thank you immensely PhoebeMD: Medicine + Poetry for the opportunity, the place where we can unite, connect, converse and post our most raw feelings! Bless you for initiating this process!

  3. CHUNX of SOUL

    Something odd,
    something different and curious
    finally made her brave enough
after 3 intense years, to lift the fragile veil
    of Lilith’s friendship, smiling back
at her from that familiar face.

    Listening to Lilith’s sweet songs,
sharing, believing, allowing them into her heart,
    lulling her own tongue
into singing its most precious tunes,
    sharing her deepest secrets.

    Hearing the devastating news
    she could not digest it,
    could not fathom
    why Lilith would betray her
    with those untrue, unkind words.

Lilith was not that kind of person!
It simply could not be true.
True friends do not go behind
    each other’s backs with knives.
    It’s an unspoken LAW!

    Breaths became labored,
    her heart rate elevated,
    unprepared for the abrupt revelation,
    completely depleted of precious oxygen,
the wind knocked out of her sails.

    A smidge of skepticism,
    a moment of hesitation,
a wall of doubt might have prepared her
for the shock of it all.

Betrayal revealed the ugly, ravenous beast
    who had waited patiently
    behind her friendly mask,
    now freely expelling her jagged,
    putrefied breaths.

    Lilith had waited, calculating,
    ready to consume
    the fresh, vulnerable, trusting friend.
    Only after the feast began
did the victim feel excruciating pain,
    the intensity of the damage.

The chunks bitten from her soul
    soon festered, refused to heal.
    What remained was the shell
    of her former self, disoriented,
    doubting everyone and everything,
    shaken to her core.

    Diminished, broken, a mere shell
of her former self, vision blurred,
    everything precious seemingly now lost,
    everyone she held dear evaporated.
Only enough strength for a simple
cynical thought left inside her aching skull.

    She asked her miserable acquaintance,
…..“and will you have fries with that?”

I wrote this poem a few years ago, after ending a long-term friendship with someone I cared about and trusted to share childhood stories, bad decisions, happy memories and lifetime angst. Life DOES “go on” but I am no longer the trusting, happy person I once was, and much more skeptical about being friendly.

My blog, https://Derasstories.com/ is about captivating short stories ranging from flash fictions to prose to Articles to tales from the clinic and even series.

Here is a link to one of my most recent posts: https://derasstories.com/2021/03/31/faceless/
Its a short story revolving around the consequences of our every action. As the saying goes, karma always has a way of paying everyone a visit. Its both a story and an embodiment of a clear reminder to be more conscious of our actions.

    Hope you enjoy it.

  7. Aww this is such a wholesome gesture! Thanks for giving us this chance to promote our own blogs here. I hope I can manage to meet some new friends from this place 😍☺

Here’s my latest post on Fear, where I discuss how our insecurities and fear of failure can in fact pull us down, hold us back from achieving greater goals.
