Meet & Greet

Meet & Greet [closed]

Dear Friends,

One of the things I have come to love about blogging is seeing you all make connections with each other during our Meet & Greet days. Therefore, I would like to give you all more opportunities to promote your blogs on – while adding some creativity to the process.

Therefore, here are the guidelines for today…

– To Promote Your Post –

Step 1: Share something that would put a smile on another person’s face. This could be a word of encouragement or something funny/inspirational/heartfelt.

Step 2: Share a hyperlink to a blog post and/or your blog homepage.

Step 3: Show support to one another through visiting and liking, commenting, and/or following blogs that interests you.

Step 4: Bookmark this post and revisit as many times as you would like to explore new arrivals.

Let’s make this a great Promote-a-Post day…you never know whose heart you will touch!

  2. Hi everyone. I’m an automotive journalist with a heart. I have loved cars since I was a kid because of my Dad. It seems most people have a car story to tell and I’m no exception. I do car reviews and interview car people and attend events.

Hope you’ll read some of my blog posts to get a chuckle, reminisce or just smile. 😊.

  3. Hi I’m Shereen, Ghanaian living in Texas, USA. I’m a lifestyle blogger. I love reading blogs, but I’ve found very little WOC lifestyle bloggers and so I thought it was important to create one. My blog is:

  4. Phoebe, thank you once again for inviting us all to share or space and thoughts with each other.

I’m just an average young lady attempting to brighten other people’s lives. Through blogging, writing poetry, cooking, volunteering, and self-publishing my new short collection called Heartbeats: Life blurbs that define me, perhaps I’ve made an impact. Something to make you all smile: food. Every. Time.
    Love comes in 8 slices.

Exercise to live more.If you fail in life, learn from it and move on. Have self inspirational talks.Make changes. Inspire others. Be responsible, kind, loving. And most importantly BE HAPPY! ♥

Do check out my blogs. 🙂

  6. Hi! I’m Genie from We call it A 10 Minute Vacation for the Soul. It started during a difficult time when hubby and I were e-mailing positive quotes back and forth to each other. Then it spread to a small e-mail list of friends and family and eventually to the daily blog. We also have a Facebook Group book for deeper discussion. This month the theme is fun. Please join us as we play and have fun.

  7. Phoebe amazes as always!
As a poet and writer I have received untold rejections — it is part of being a writer — but each seems only to make the occasional acceptances that much sweeter. So too, the pains in life can enable you to savor the joys more fully and deeply.

  8. Phoebe, thank you so much for this lovely opportunity. It’s very thoughtful and sincere of you.
My name is Joel Abakah. I want to let anyone reading this know that you deserve all the happiness in this world. Always try your best to seek positivity in everything you do because negativity ruins any chance of happiness. It’s good to smile more, be kind to one another and avoid hate.💚💚
I enjoy writing about issues of life through poetry and articles. Some posts are about me but I try to make it relatable to all. I hope you enjoy my posts at

  9. Hi Phoebe,

It’s me again. I can’t stop the excitement of such opportunities to read other bloggers work and realize I am not alone in the solace of the mind pouring out words which seem sometimes weird certain people.

My name is Gere Ochuko aka Chuks, I have loved writing because it was birthed from the need to vent out all the loud whispers and rambling in my head, but mostly because no one wants to listen then I can open my blog and write about anything I want for someone to read and realize they are not alone. We all have a story to tell and that’s the difference between a writer and an ordinary person.

Every piece I have written has a bit of me in it, maybe it is just my loud mind at work again. Sigh.
I find myself writing more poems as each day so go and I am loving it. My favorite anything which screams Different and Amazing, which almost all my write-ups and poems/stories have but above all we are beautiful, inside and out.

Thank you so much, Phoebe, for this opportunity again.

  10. September 7th – My Baby Girl Said Yes!!!1999:  Went to Edons, via Denis, only to discover he’s no longer called Denis, he has a new name of Sabre.  I don’t like it and I’m gonna call him Denis anyway.  Mum collected me at half four and I was still in the same clothes I left home in this morning (and no they hadn’t been washed).  Things weren’t so good later though, as my tea went in, something else came out in my pants. Mum and I played ball in the garden, I’m getting good at catch now, and throwing; as demonstrated when I managed to lob one of my sandpit toys right over the fence!  I found a metal piece from my slide and started whacking mums big laburnham bush with it.  When she said “no” (I knew it was coming), I simply said “I cutting trees down”.  Despite attempts I just could not see the difference between this bush and the 30 foot conifers mum and Pa were cutting down last week.
2019: I can finally let the cat out of the bag,  Have been dying to blog about this for weeks but couldn’t as would have spoilt the surprise.  Took Zof away to Rome for her birthday and now this evening I can finally relax, after the heaviest thing that has EVER been on my shoulders. I proposed to Zof at the Trevi fountain. I was too lost in the moment to notice what was going on around us but noticed the cheer and the applause at the end. Luckily she said yes and we are now off out for a double birthday and engagement celebration meal tonight

  11. This is what makes blogging so worthwhile. I got this comment from @amigafibro1 on Instagram to my ‘Learning to laugh at your clumsy hands’ blog. It was all in Spanish but, with the help of google translate, I read with tears in my eyes. Surely this makes it all worthwhile?!
”I am excited because that is how I see this whole path of acceptance because we have to be friends with this disease in order to have better happiness  It is not a permanent goal, we must hold those moments of fun, hope and joy. I love you because I feel you are an equal. Thank you. I appreciate this moment of happiness”.
I only blog in the hope of making a difference to someone’s day. I am so glad that today I have achieved this.  Don’t ever underestimate the value of your blog or a comment. Go with your heart and just write
