Slumber.

Stars

curled ’round

my wandering thoughts,

ensheathed in oblivion serene.

Fears sway languidly,

cradled by night,

I surrender

to

its

embrace.

  1. Ah, this is lovely, Phoebe. I wish I’d read it last night before putting my head on the pillow. 🙂 Have a terrific Monday!

  2. Beautiful…….it perfectly expresses that lovely sense of total relaxation – that “twilight zone” we enter just before sleeping – ready to welcome the bliss of resting our weary bones and brains!

    Hugs, Pam
