Cochabamba, Bolivia
Every week, over fifty street children would line up at the city plaza
for the ‘Kid Washing’…where we would bathe, clothe, and
feed them. The girls would then get pretty braids.

I pressed the mystery button and was not disappointed! =)

What a wonderful thing to do……………..sweet.

It was the least we could do to try to help this ever-growing problem in the urban areas. Our hope was that by bringing the children together with the community that this would raise awareness and lessen the stigmatization. Also, it just made the children happy to be clean, lice-free, and comfortable.. 🙂
WOw, so cool!
Awesome !
Such simple tasks that teach and offer so much to those on both the giving and receiving ends. This is wonderful!
It was a wonderfully rewarding experience to see the children come together with the rest of the community. The giving was definitely not just one-way. I feel like I gained so much just from being with them. 🙂
These are the best relationships and I am happy you were able to gain so much from them 🙂
What a wonderful gesture.
It was the least we could do…but unfortunately we couldn’t do more for them… :-/
Unfortunate of course, but it is a classic situation where one should focus on what was done, rather than dwell on what was not done. 🙂
Very cool! 🙂
