Welcome back, demon,
I’ve been expecting you.
Now, what is your reason,
For the things I’m going through?
You should hold no power here,
Yet you manage to find a way.
I wish you’d just disappear,
But you reside in my brain.
You’re selfish, you know that?
You take and take, never give.
You and I need to have a little chat,
For myself I need to forgive.
I blame myself for your presence,
When you take sole responsibility.
Why must you resort to violence,
When all I want is tranquility?
I feel glued to my bed,
All thanks to you.
I can’t get out of my head,
What am I supposed to do?
You make me feel worthless,
You sap the life out of me.
You make me feel nervous,
I can’t be who I wanna be.
Why can’t you leave me alone,
Maybe just this once?
Your actions I cannot condone,
That’s something we need to discuss.
You push me down and laugh,
You enjoy watching me suffer.
You want me to endure your wrath,
But you don’t see how it’s making me tougher.
You’re the worthless one,
You hold no ranking here.
Your appearances feel like reruns,
You’re not exactly a pioneer.
I think it’s time for you to go,
You’ve overstayed your welcome.
I need some room to grow.
I expect your visits to be seldom.
